Here's my piece for the 2011 Kansas City Art Institute Art & Design Auction. Held every other year, I create a new piece for every auction. After prepping the surface, I completed this in roughly one weekend. On Saturday, I did all the background color and on Sunday I did nearly all the drawing & addt'l painting.
